PRIOR TO OPERATION

1. Work place

Ensure there are no objects nearby that limit free movement,

comfortable and safe use of the tool.

2. Power supply

Ensure the speciﬁcation of power supply that the hot air gun is to be

connected to matches requirements described on the rating plate of

the tool.

3. Switch

Ensure the switch is in the oﬀ position. When plugging to power supply

socket when the switch is in the ON position, immediate start of hot air

gun operation may cause a serious accident.

4. Extension cord

When the workplace is far away from the power supply socket use

extension cord with appropriate cross section, matched to current used.

Use the shortest possible extension cord.

5. Operation check

Operation of hot air gun should be smooth and even. Use such tool only.

REMOVING PAINT

• Switch hot air gun and set appropriate working temperature.

• Direct the hot air stream to surface coated with paint. Bubbles will

appear after some time. Do not allow burning of paint, it would make

removal more diﬃcult.

• When removing paint with scraper or putty knife, remove it gradually

from top to bottom. If you encounter a place where the paint cannot

be removed, carefully put the hot air gun closer to aid you in your

work. Clean the putty knife blade from time to time.

• Remove paint before it hardens, otherwise it will adhere to the knife

blade.

• After the work is ﬁnished, quickly remove remaining of paint with wire

brush before it hardens.

Just after the operation is finished, the nozzle will be hot. Avoid

direct contact and use appropriate protective gloves, or wait until

it cools down.

Do not use plastic knives to remove paint heated with the hot air

gun.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing any

activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or maintenance.

• Keep the hot air gun clean and ensure free air ﬂow.

• Protect the hot air gun against water.

• Do not clean the hot air gun with water or chemical cleaning agents.

• Use soft cloth for cleaning the body.

• Store the hot air gun in a dry place, beyond reach of children.

• Entrust replacement of power cord and other repairs only to qualiﬁed

persons, use only original parts.

All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the

manufacturer.

Данное оборудование не предназначено для использования лицами

если работа с оборудованием осуществляется под контролем
