Light sense timeout
The scanner waits for the light sense timeout to expire before activating ambient light monitoring. This can be set in 0.1s
increments from 0.1s to 25.5s. The default timeout is 0.4s. For more information, see Appendix D: Examples.

Light sensitivity

Light sensitivity levels range from 0 to 255. The smaller the number, the higher the light sensitivity.

In this mode scanning is activated by host commands (i.e. set the bit0 of register 0x0002 to "1"). The scanning continues
until the barcode is scanned or the scanning timeout expires.
