• Switch off the device before discon-
necting the device cover, disconnect
it from the mains and allow it to cool
sufficiently.
1. Unwind the power cord with the
power plug completely.
2. Place the appliance on a flat, heat
and grease-resistant surface.
3. Unlock the transport lock (6).
4. Make sure the grease tray is properly
installed. It must be pushed under the
appliance in such a way that the fat
dripping from the two fat drains drips
into the shell.
5. Fold the device cover backwards.
Pull the release lever (7) and complete-
ly close the appliance cover.
6. Connect the device to a properly
installed power outlet that corresponds
to the specifications on the appliance.
7. The red operation indicator lamp (3)
and the green temperature indicator
lamp (4) light up. The appliance starts
heating up.
8. Set the desired temperature range
using the rotary switch (5).
9. After the appliance has reached the
set operating temperature, the green
temperature indicator light (4) goes
out. This indicates that the optimum
temperature has been reached.
10. The temperature control light (4)
and thus also the thermostat now turn
on and off during operation to main-
tain the optimum temperature.
11. Coat the grill plates with butter,
margarine or heat-resistant vegetable
oil before inserting the food.
12. Now place the food to be grilled
on the grill plates. Turn this in between
so that it can be evenly heated from
all sides. Use heat-resistant wooden or

plastic spatula to turn and remove the
food.
13. Check the condition of the food
regularly and do not leave it unattend-
ed.
14. Remove the food from the grill
plates when it has reached the desired
state.
15. Disconnect the device from the
mains after using the device by pulling
the plug out of the earthing contact
socket. Let the appliance cool to room
temperature before cleaning and / or
stowing it.
WARNING!
After taking out, the food is very hot!
Let it cool sufficiently before consump-
tion. Risk of burns!

current-carrying parts.
• Pull out the power plug completely
before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids.
• If the appliance falls in the liquid, do
not grab it in any circumstances. Pull
out the power plug first.
