Congratulations on your purchase of the all-new Fender EXPO™
SYSTEM.
The Fender EXPO™ SYSTEM is a powered speaker array with an
integrated subwoofer that delivers audiophile clarity and sonic
detail in a portable, small-footprint design easily set up in only
seconds. The EXPO™ SYSTEM is the perfect sound system for DJs
and instrumental performers. It's also ideal for education, worship
and many other presentation applications.
The EXPO™ SYSTEM's ultra-wide sound dispersion pattern covers
audiences of up to 300, and it can be easily daisy-chained together
with multiple EXPO™ SYSTEMS to cover even larger audiences.
A/B. SPEAKER ASSEMBLY — Place the subwoofer
{A} upright on the floor. Connect the speaker
array {B} to the subwoofer as shown. Two steel
pins ensure that the multi-pin connector is
properly aligned. DISASSEMBLY: Step on the
two tabs at the bottom front corners of the
subwoofer to stabilize the system while
decoupling the speaker array.
C. FUSE — Protects the unit in case of electrical
faults. Replace only with the type and rating
specified on the rear panel of the unit.
D. POWER SOCKET — Connect to a grounded
electrical outlet in accordance with the voltage
and frequency ratings specified on the rear
panel of the unit.
E.
POWER SWITCH — Press to the "ON" position
to turn the unit on. Press to the "OFF" position
to turn the unit off.
F.
LINE OUT — These jacks can
be used to output balanced
signals to other active speakers
or sound equipment using XLR
cables. This signal is identical to
the input signal.

G. LINE IN — These jacks can be
used to input unbalanced signals
using the RCA jacks, or balanced
signals using the combination
XLR and 1/4" (6.3 mm) TRS jacks.
H. INDICATOR LEDS — The "ON" LED
indicates when the unit is powered on.
The "SIGNAL" LED indicates when the unit
is receiving audio signal. The "LIMIT" LED
lights up when the system is operating at
its upper limit. Occasional flashing is acceptable but if this
LED lights up often or steadily, reduce the volume level of
the input signal to avoid distortion or system malfunction.
The "PROTECT" LED lights up if the system has been
overdriven or overheated. In protect mode the amplifiers are
momentarily shut down and will automatically reset after a
few minutes.
I. LEVEL KNOBS — Use the
"SUB LEVEL" knob to adjust
the volume of the subwoofer
independently. Use the "MAIN
LEVEL" knob to adjust the
volume of the system overall.
