Battery Packs/Batteries
Protect batteries from excessive heat,
continuous intense sunlight and fire.
Danger of explosion.
Always replace all batteries at the same
time. Only use batteries from one brand
and with the identical capacity. When
storing for longer periods, the batteries
can corrode and discharge themselves.
remove the batteries from the AML
when not in use for long periods.
Battery Packs/Disposal
Do not dispose of battery packs/
batteries into household, waste, fire or
water. Battery packs/batteries should
be collected, recycled or disposed of in
an environmental-friendly manner.

Defective or dead battery packs/
batteries must be recycled according to
the guideline 91/157/EEC, or per local
regulations.
repair
Have the AML repaired only through
SubSurface Instruments Inc., using
original replacement parts. This
ensures that the safety of the locator is
maintained.
Disposal
The AML, accessories and packaging
should be sorted for environment-
friendly recycling.
