3.2. Verifying the HAMGSM's Status
It is possible to verify the status of the HAMGSM at any time.
• Send following message to the HAMGSM: STATUS.
• Do not enter any spaces before or in your message.
• You will receive a message similar to the one below after approximately 45 seconds:

PROG= 0,2,7,2,3
CONTACT: ON
BAT= OK SIG= 5
SERVICE OFF
OUTPUT OFF
AMA2: alarm device type
REV 2.29: used software version
PROG=0,2,7,2,3: setting characteristics
CONTACT=ON: status of the ignition key
BAT = OK: status of the battery voltage (< 10.6V = LOW)
SIG = 5: reception strength of the GSM network
SERVICE OFF: status during maintenance (ON = maintenance, OFF = HAMGSM switched on)
OUTPUT OFF: output status (ON = switched on, OFF = switched off)
3.3. Connecting an extra device to the HAMGSM
3.3.1. Switching On the Connected Device
• First set function 4 to 0 (see 2.4.2.4.). Attention: the buzzer function is now deactivated.
• Send following message to the HAMGSM: ON1111 in which 1111 is your personal code.
• Use the new password when the password has been modified. Do not enter any spaces before or
in your message.
• The HAMGSM will reply with following message:

3.3.2. Switching Off the Connected Device
• Send following message to the HAMGSM: OFF1111 in which 1111 is your personal code.
• Use the new password when the password has been modified. Do not enter any spaces before or
in your message.
• The HAMGSM will reply with following message:

OUTPUT=OFF
3.4. Vehicle Maintenance
The HAMGSM can be switched off so as to stop sending any messages. This is useful when the vehicle has
to be maintained at the car mechanic's.
