Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Mit dem Audio-Player CD-70USB lassen sich MP3-
und WAV-Dateien von USB-Speichermedien (z. B.
USB-Sticks oder USB-Festplatten, ggf. mit eigener
Stromversorgung) abspielen. Die Multi-Partition-
Unter stüt zung des Players er laubt den An schluss
von unterschiedlich formatierten Festplatten (FAT 16/
FAT 32, NTFS, HFS+).
Der Player ist speziell für den professionellen
DJ-Bereich konzipiert. Viele Funktionen sind genau
auf diesen Einsatzbereich abgestimmt wie z. B. Ein-
zeltitelwiedergabe,
nahtlose
Wieder gabe
Schleife, Speichern von Cue-Punkten, Ge schwindig-
keitsänderung mit oder ohne Tonhöhenverschie-
bung, diverse Effektfunktionen.

Gerät aufstellen und anschließen
Der Player ist als freistehendes Gerät zu verwenden
und muss auf einer ebenen, waagerechten Fläche
aufgestellt werden. Vor dem Anschluss bzw. vor
dem Verändern von An schlüssen den Player und die
anzuschließenden Geräte ausschalten.
1) Ist an Ihrem Mischpult oder Verstärker ein Digital -
eingang vorhanden, diesen an die gelbe Cinch-
Buchse DIGITAL OUT (28) anschließen.
Bei Geräten ohne Digitaleingang den Stereo-
Ausgang LINE OUT (29) – linker Ka nal weiße
Buchse und rechter Kanal rote Buchse – über ein
Stereo-Audiokabel mit Cinch-Steckern an einen
Line-Eingang anschließen (mögliche Beschrif-
tung des Eingangs: LINE IN, AUX IN, CD).
2) Über die Buchse REMOTE (31) kann der Player
über ein Mischpult mit Faderstart-Funktion auf
blue = neutral

1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-

If the unit is to be put out of operation defin-
itively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.

Applications
The audio player CD-70USB will replay MP3 files
and WAV files from USB storage media (e. g. USB
memory sticks or USB hard disks with individual
power supply, if required). The multi-partition support
of the player allows connection of hard disks with dif-
ferent formatting (FAT 16/FAT 32, NTFS, HFS+).
The player is specially designed for professional
DJ applications. Many functional features have pre-
cisely been matched to this range of application,
e. g. single title replay, seamless replay of a loop,
storage of Cue points, change of speed with or with-
out displacing the pitch, various effect functions.

Setting Up and Connecting the Unit
The player is designed as a free-standing unit and
must be set up on a flat, horizontal surface. Prior to
making or changing any connections, switch off the
player and the units to be connected.
Start und auf Pause geschaltet werden. Zur

schluss der Steuerverbindung siehe Kapitel 5.16.
3) Mit einem zweiten Player CD-70USB kann ein
wechselseitiges Starten der Wiedergabe erfolgen
(
Kapitel 5.5.1). Dazu die Buchse RELAY (32)
über ein Kabel mit 3,5-mm-Klin ken ste ckern
(2-polig oder 3-polig) an die Buchse RELAY des
zweiten Gerätes an schließen.
4) Zuletzt den Netzstecker des Anschlusskabels
(34) in eine Steckdose (230 V~/ 50 Hz) stecken.

Bedienung
5.1
Inbetriebnahme
einer
1) Das Gerät mit dem Schalter POWER (33) ein-
schalten. Das Display (1) zeigt erst
, wenn kein USB-Speichermedium ange-
schlossen ist.
2) Das USB-Speichermedium an die USB-Buchse
(2) des Players an schließen. Das Display zeigt
kurz
, danach steht der Player am 1. Titel
auf Pause.
Hinweis: Nach dem Anschluss einer Festplatte mit
mehreren Partitionen schaltet der Player automatisch
in den Parti tionswahlmodus: das Display zeigt
Um die Partition auszuwählen, siehe Kapitel 5.2.
3) Zur An wahl eines anderen Titels, siehe Kapitel
5.3; zur Anwahl einer Playliste siehe Kapitel 5.4.
4) Mit der Taste PLAY/ PAUSE (10) kann zwischen
Wiedergabe (Taste leuchtet) und Pause (Taste
blinkt) umgeschaltet werden. Das Display zeigt
das je weilige Symbol (G):
Pause.
5) Nach dem Einschalten ist immer der Betriebs -
modus Auto-CUE aktiv, angezeigt durch die ent-
sprechende Einblendung (C): Ist ein Titel zu
Ende gespielt, schaltet der Player am Anfang des

2) Via the jack REMOTE (31), the player can be set
to Start and Pause via a mixer with fader start
function. For the function of the remote control
and for connection of the control connection see
chapter 5.16.
3) With a second player of the type CD-70USB, an
alternate start of the replay will be possible
(
chapter 5.5.1). For this purpose, connect the
jack RELAY (32) via a cable with 3.5 mm plugs
(2-pole or 3-pole) to the jack RELAY of the sec-
ond unit.
4) Finally connect the mains plug of the connection
cable (34) to a mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz).

Operation
5.1
Setting the player into operation
1) Switch on the unit with the POWER switch (33).
The display (1) will show
if no USB storage medium is connected.
2) Connect the USB storage medium to the USB
port (2) of the player. The display will shortly
show
, then the player is set to pause at the
first title.
Note: After connecting a hard disk with several parti-
tions, the player will automatically go to the partition
selection mode: the display will show
the partition see chapter 5.2.
3) To select another title see chapter 5.3; to select a
play list see chapter 5.4.

die Gesamtanzahl der Titel im aktuellen Ordner
2. unter der Einblendung TRACK (B)
die Nummer des aktuellen Titels
3. in der Textzeile (K)
den Dateinamen

Für MP3-Dateien lässt sich die Zeile mit der
Taste TITLE (13) auf weitere ID3-Tag-Informa -
tionen, falls vorhanden, umschalten. Die jewei-
lige Einblendung (I) signalisiert, welche Informa-
tion angezeigt wird:

umschalten, die jeweilige Einblendung (D) signa-
