3.3 Ställ in önskad temperatur med ratten (3).
Märklampan (2) tänds när belastningen är inkopplad
och uppvärmning pågår.
3.4 Kontrollera termostatens inställning ungefär ett dygn
efter idrifttagandet.
3.5 När termostaten fungerar normalt hörs en liten
dämpad knäpp när belastningen kopplas till eller
från.
3.6 I termostatens ratt finns begränsningstappar, med
vilka man avgränsar övre och undre gränsvärdet för
inställningen (fig. 3.6).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND
OPERATING
ELR-10 and ELF-10 thermostats are mounted as the
cover of a 1-component mounting box or as part of a
multiple-component instrument panel. The thermostat is
suitable for use with the Ensto Jussi range of
accessories.

1. BEFORE INSTALLATION

1.1 Check that all the parts and tools needed for the
installation are on hand. The package contains a
thermostat, a button, a lid, a covering plate, an
additional connector, a sensor cable (ELF-10 only),
and these installation instructions.
1.2 Check that the heating load is equivalent to the
thermostat power endurance, max. 2300 W resistive
load. Final circuit breaker/fuse 10 A max.

1.3 Measure the insulation resistance and circuit
resistance of the heating load controlled by the
thermostat.
2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Raise the thermostat button for the installation by
pulling it (Fig 2.1).
2.2 Open the thermostat lid by lifting it from the side with
two screwdrivers (Fig. 2.1).
2.3 Place the sensor cable in the protective tube.
2.4 Connect the thermostat to the mains and to the
sensor cable and to the load as shown in the
drawing (Fig. 2.4). The temperature reduction
control is attached to the connector marked T-.
2.5 Attach any protective conductors to the connector
on the thermostat or to the separate additional
connector (PE).
2.6 Mount the thermostat in the mounting box using box
screws.
2.7 Press the lid and button of the thermostat into place,
so that small arrow in the potentiometer axle slot
and the dot on the button point in the same
direction.

3. START-UP AND OPERATION

3.1 Connect the current to the heating circuit.
3.2 Connect the current to the thermostat at the switch
on the lid (1).
3.3 Set the button (3) to the desired temperature. The
light (2) goes on when the load is connected and
the heating is on.
3.4 After switching on the heating, check the
temperature setting approx. 24 hours later.
3.5 When the thermostat is functioning normally, a faint
click is heard when it switches on and off.
3.6 The control button on the thermostat has limiters
which can be used to limit the upper and lower
settings of the range (Fig. 3.6).
