3.1 Function description

The air motor AM5000 is intended to replace the muscle power that must be delivered to lift a load with the
GEBUWIN winches and lower it in a controlled fashion.
The air motor is fitted with an adapter system that fits the GEBUWIN winches.
3.2. Installation air motor
Connect the air motor to the compressed air system using the proper materials for that purpose (see table 1) while
noting the following points:
Make sure the max. compressed air of 6 bar is not exceeded on the intake side.
Use a pressure regulator when the compressed air pressure is higher that the permissible operating
pressure of 6 bar.
In order to protect the air motor against contamination and corrosion, we recommend placing an air filter
and oil atomiser in front of the motor.
We recommend installing an extra pneumatic safety valve between every air motor and compressor.
Do not make pipelines (hoses) too long.
Use clean, undamaged pipelines (hoses) and fittings.
Use pipelines (hoses) that are suited for the operating pressure and resistant to oil.
First connect the motor and only then put pressure on the compressed air system.
3.3. Assembly instructions air motor on winch
A connecting piece is supplied for the winches WW 1000 and 1500.
Before installing the connecting piece, first remove the crank. This is not
necessary for the WW2000 to 5000. After removal the crank, the winch
is ready for use.
The air motor of the WW2000 to 5000 can only be placed on the 2
driving shaft.
Make sure that the coupling sleeve of the air motor has the proper
distance (see dimensions size A).
For the WW1000 and 1500, the distance A should be 12 mm and for the
WW 2000 to 5000 the distance A should be 1 mm. If necessary, change
the distance A. To do that, an Allen head bolt must be loosened in the
coupling sleeve. Place the coupling sleeve in the proper position and re-
tighten the Allen head bolt.
3.4. Operation
Slide the coupling sleeve on the driving shaft of the winch.
Make sure that the anti-torque pin falls in the hole of the winch.
Press the handle inward to lift the load. Press the handle + knob inward
to lower the load. Lifting the load occurs clockwise. Lowering the load
occurs in the opposite direction.
After use, never leave the air motor hanging from the winch.
Make sure that when putting the air motor away, it is not placed
on the handle, causing it to turn.
