Replacing the Receipt
Printer
It may become necessary to replace the receipt printer.
Follow the procedures below to remove or insert the
receipt printer.
Note
Before removing or inserting the receipt printer, make sure
the unit and the peripheral devices are turned off.

Removing the Receipt Printer

Open the cabinet.
For details, see "To open the cabinet" on page 7.

Press open the tabs on both sides of the receipt printer
cable, and disconnect the cable from the rear of the
receipt printer.

Remove the screw securing the printer bracket to the
bottom of the drawer, and lift out the printer and
bracket together.

Remove the two screws securing the printer bracket to
the receipt printer.
The old receipt printer is now removed. To finish the
replacement, you need to insert a new receipt printer.

Inserting the Receipt Printer

Secure the printer bracket to the rear of the receipt
printer with the two screws you removed earlier.

Insert the printer bracket in the drawer so that the
receipt printer is properly positioned.

Secure the printer bracket to the bottom of the drawer
with the screw you removed earlier.

Connect the receipt printer cable to the rear of the
receipt printer, and close the tabs on both sides of the
cable to lock it into place.

Close the cabinet.
