matically. This setting should be used when the desired minimum
lighting in the room has been reached (the time when the light is
to be switched on and when there is no longer sufficient daylight
in the room).
Time buttons:
Setting the off-delay time. There are seven preset settings:
Pulse/ 2 min./5 min./10 min./15 min./ 30 min. and 60 min.
There is also an option for eight-hour constant-on for running
in e.g. an HVAC system. The red LED flashes 0.25 sec. On and
30 sec. off when the function is active. To cancel the function,
activate the button again and the red LED stops flashing. The de-
tector also exits from the eight-hour timer, returning to automatic;
the light can now be switched on according to the selected
application. When "8 Hours" is active, all other functions are
blocked on the detector.
Instead of selecting a normal delay, it is possible to choose the
"Pulse function", where the output pulses, i.e. flashes with a
fixed rhythm. Pulse is 5 seconds On and 55 seconds Off. The
pulse function can be used e.g. to control a ventilation system.
The pulse function stops after the selected off-delay time, after
the last activity detection in the sensor's coverage area has
ceased. If this function is desired, first press "Pulse", then press
one of the "Time" buttons.
Example:
The "Pulse" and "5 min" buttons are activated. This means that
the detector will pulse 5 seconds On and 55 seconds Off when
there is activity in the detector's coverage area. The detector
discontinues the pulses 5 minutes after the last registered activ-
ity. Fig. 2.
In order to cancel the pulse function, choose one of the other
"Time" buttons, without first activating the "Pulse" button.
Status:
If this button is activated, the detector will indicate which set-
tings it is operating from via the red LED.
The green LED indicates start status.
Example:
The detector is set to: Lux value = 300 Lux and Time = 10 min.
If the "Status" button is pressed, the green LED will flash once,
the red LED will flash five times, followed by one flash from the
green LED and then four red flashes. The first five red flashes
indicate the fifth lux setting = 300 lux. The following four red
flashes indicate the fourth Time setting = 10 minutes.
