Thank you for choosing this Cosatto product. Please take a little time to read the
important safety notes detailed below. This will ensure many years of happy, safe
use.
WARNING: Ensure the crib is in the locked position when leaving a child unsupervised in it.
• Ensure that the crib is used on a horizontal floor.
• Do not allow young children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the crib.
• You should not fix any toy or decoration to the inside of the crib that could provide a
foothold and present a danger of strangulation or suffocation.
• The safety of the crib could be adversely affected by fitting flammable drapes.
• When a child is able to sit, kneel or to pull itself up, the crib shall not be used
anymore for this child.
• Do not use the body of the crib without its frame.
• The upper surface of any mattress used should be at least 200mm from the upper
edge of the crib sides in its highest position.
• The crib should not be used if any parts are lost or damaged.
• All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and care should be taken
that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the body, or clothing
(e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbon for babies, dummies), which could pose a risk of suf-
focation and strangulation.
• Only Cosatto spares should be used.
• Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric
bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the crib.
• The recommended mattress for this crib is a Cosatto "CRIB" mattress (89cm x38cm)
• Any mattress used with this crib should be no more than 40mm shorter or narrower
than the length or width of the crib.
