Assembly
Connecting the network cable to
the terminal block of the media
socket
The 8-conductor network data cable consists of 8 wires
in 4 pairs (orange, green, blue and brown).
Each pair of wires consists of a solid coloured wire and
a wire of the same colour with white stripes on it.
Remove the cover plate of the terminal block.
Strip the cable and make sure that the wires are
the same length. Follow the colour guide on the B
row of the cover plate.
Left to right:

Insert the ends of the wires into
the terminal block, you do not
need to strip them. Make sure
that the wires are inserted all
the way into their respective
tracks.
Replace the cover plate and
push it down completely. Push
down hard, it might be difficult.
The cover plate presses
the wires down onto a knife
edge which cuts through their
insulation.
Press the terminal block
into the media socket until
it clicks into place.
Connect the cable from
your satellite dish to
the F-connector on
the media socket.
