WARNING
Prior to the installation of the insertion
disconnect the mains plug of the ampli-
fier or basic unit of the insertion. Other-
wise there is an electric shock hazard.
.
1) Remove the cover of the amplifier.
2) Screw off the blank panel of the insertion slot at the
amplifier. Remove the three-pole line glued to the
blank panel and connect it to the pin jack CON 1 of
the tuner after the AM/FM tuner has been inserted
and tightened with screws (see fig. 2).
3) Unscrew the blank panel at the back of the amplifier
and remove it. Insert the supplied PCB with the
antenna screw connections and fasten it with
screws.
4) Insert the 4-pole line of the inserted PCB to the pin
socket CON 3 of the AM/FM tuner.
5) Only for the amplifier PA-1200: Plug the 2-pole line
of the connection AN 08 of the terminals M.O.H. into
the pin jack CON 2 of the AM/FM tuners.
6) The insertion PA-1200R has a storage battery
(position BAT 1) to store the station tunings. This
storage battery is deactivated ex factory to prevent
a gradual discharge prior to the installation. For the
operation activate the battery: Set the switch SW 2
to the position showing the marking on the sliding
switch (fig. 2). As the switch can also be installed by
turning it around 180°, observe this marking in any
case.
For deactivating the battery for a longer time
(e. g. for storage), set the switch so that the marking
cannot be seen.
