Water pressure powered radio AAA Ni-MH battery
Congratulations on purchasing the H2O shower powered radio.
This is the first water pressure powered radio in the world.
Powered by the water flowing in your shower.
How does it work?
Simply fit the H2O shower radio in line with your shower hose. When you turn on your shower
the water flows through the H2O micro turbine. This turbine drives a generator that creates
energy.
Easy installation, no tools required
Step 1
Undo the hose connector to the mixer control
unit (faucet).
Use 3mm waterjet for normal water pressure systems and 5mm waterjet for high powered
shower systems. If you connected the 3mm waterjet and waterpressure output is reduced
too much, please use the 5mm waterjet.
Step 3
Now connect the shower radio to the water
jet.

N O T I C E
To utilise the "auto-switch-on function",
it may be necessary on some low power
showers to initially reduce temperature
to increase water flow. Once the radio is
switched on (a few seconds) the
+
temperature can be regulated as normal.
Alternatively use the manual on/off
button.

a hose connection on top of the faucet,
please install the shower radio as per

I M P O R T A N T
This radio has been designed as a water pressure powered radio.
The integral rechargeable AAA Ni-MH battery stores the memory of the last chosen radio station
and speaker volume, and ensures stable voltage when the water generator generates energy to power
the radio.
Note: The H2O Shower Radio will automatically charge the internal battery for station and volume
memories while showering. The radio will also play after showering, but this will use some of the internal
battery capacity, and will, if played long enough eventually deplete the battery and loose the last station
and volume setting. If this happens please remove the AA battery by unscrewing the chrome cap and
recharge it with a suitable charger. Refit the charged AA battery, then retune the station and reset
the volume.
Never leave a fully depleted battery for any length of time - it may not be possible to recover its

performance. If this should happen - remove the rechargeable battery and recharge using a suitable
battery charger. If the battery will not charge it will need to be replaced with a AAA Ni-Mh 1.2 Volt battery.
Operation:
• When the shower is turned on the H2O shower radio switches on automatically - tuning into the last station
listened to at the last volume set.
• To change station press Seek + to go to the next station up, or Seek - to go to the next station down.
• To increase speaker volume press Vol + , to decrease speaker volume press Vol -.
• To turn the radio off at any time press Power on/off for 2 seconds

• Do NOT submerse the radio under water
• Do NOT point your shower directly at the radio
• Do occasionally wipe the H2O shower radio with a damp cloth to remove any build up of soap and
other shower products.
