AREAS OF USE
This model is a versatile professional amplifier that can
drive a mixed assortment of 10/100/110 Volt and traditional
4-16 Ohm speakers.
It is ideal for institutions where a large number of distantly located
speakers are used (e.g., offices, schools, medical centers, public
institutions etc.). Because the model supports six different zones, the
speakers in various rooms or sections can be controlled separately. In
addition, the device can be used to create an efficient audio system
when used together with traditional speakers in theaters or concert
venues.
The amplifier also includes a 6-channel built-in mixer and treble/bass
control. When the microphone is in use it automatically fades out music
to a pre-set level, and fades it back when the speaker is finished talking.
(Available for the MIC 1 input only.) The gong effect that can be triggered
by a button makes it more efficient to make announcements.
MPA 120 and MPA 250 can be used to drive up to 15-20 or 30-35
speakers, respectively, at the same time. (The speakers can be 100/110
Volt models with a transformer, e.g., WAS or CES series.) The stereo
output can be used to connect am external amplifier, which allows the
creation of arbitrarily large systems.

CONNECTING THE SPEAKERS

The amplifier can be used to drive an assortment of speakers with
different parameters. This means that 70/100 (110) Volt speakers and
traditional speakers can be used at the same time in a mixed system.
The maximum available power is distributed among the speakers; you
need to consider this when choosing the number and type of speakers to
use.
When connecting the speakers, always make sure that there are no
short circuits and that every speaker is connected with the right polarity.
Always connect speakers when the amplifier is powered off.

INSTALLING THE DEVICE

1. Make sure the main POWER switch is off (in the "0" position).
2. Connect the speakers as described above, then connect microphones and
other stereo inputs as desired (e.g., CD player, MP3 player, tape recorder, radio,
keyboard etc.).
3. Plug the power cable into the network.
4. Set all controls to the minimum level.
5. Turn on the amplifier, and turn the LEVEL control to the medium position.
6. Carefully adjust the volume control of each channel to find the desired volume.
7. Adjust the TREBLE and BASS tones as desired.
AUTO FADER
The MIC 1 microphone input has priority over the other two inputs. If a speaker
uses this microphone, the device will automatically fade out background music,
and fade it back when the speaker is finished talking into the microphone. The
fade-out volume can be adjusted using the MUTE control on the back.
Pressing the CHIME button plays the sound of a gong to call the attention of
listeners to an announcement.
WARNINGS
• Be careful when wiring up the 70/100 Volt connections. Never touch these
connectors when the amplifier is in use. Make sure the back cover is not
accessible when the using the amplifier.
• Do not dismantle or tamper with the device. Electric shock hazard. Because of
the presence of network voltage, always observe the usual life protection rules.
• Do not connect any cables when the device is working.
• Never turn on the system with the volume at a high level. The pop or other noise
spike heard when switching on can cause irreparable damage to the speaker(s)
immediately.
• Never cover the device and only install it in a location with proper ventilation.
Ensure at least 10 cm for cooling behind the back cover.
• Make sure that no external objects block the rotation of the cooling fan.
• The individual speaker output connections must never be connected to the
amplifier's case or to each other.
• If the power cord is damaged or the system suffers any other damage, unplug
the device immediately from the network, and consult a technician.
• Protect from sunlight, humidity and water. Do not expose to direct heat.
• Protect from extreme temperatures.
• The device is for use only indoors, in a dry environment.
• If the protective circuit is activated, the FAULT LED is lit up and the amplifier
mutes the speakers. In that case, turn off the amplifier immediately and only use
it again after troubleshooting.
• When replacing the fuse, always use an identical type.
• The warranty is not applicable to damage caused by irresponsible or improper
use.
• Clean with a soft, dry cloth and a brush. Never use aggressive detergents for
cleaning.
