6 The ironing board can be stored in vertical position.
Store the ironing board with the ironing surface pointing towards the
wall for extra stability.
Replacement
To guarantee proper functioning of the ironing board, always use
original ironing board covers (type number GC9001), which can be
purchased at service centres authorised by Philips.
The ironing board may be hot after steam ironing.Wait until the board
has cooled down sufficiently before removing the cover.

1 Loosen the cover fastener and remove the ironing board cover.

2 Place the new cover on the ironing board.
Make sure that the cover fits properly round the corners of the ironing
board at the control panel end.

3 Pull the cover fastener until the cover fits tightly round the
ironing board and fix the cover fastener with the stopper.
Make sure that the cover fastener and the stopper do not interfere
with the safety catch in any way.
