SAFETY
Danger for children and relevant persons
• Keep the packaging bag, small components and protective films away from
babies and toddlers as they pose a risk of suffocation! Make sure no person
ever puts the packaging bag over his or her head.
Risk of electrical hazard
• The product must not be immersed in water or other liquids or get in con-
tact with such. Risk of electric shock! For that reason, do not use the device
near sources of moisture or outdoors.
• Do not operate the device with wet hands.
• Plug the unit into the mains outlet socket of the correct type and rating.
See the electrical rating plate at the back of the unit.
• Please ensure that the socket is easily accessible.
• Do not use the product, if ...
- the product, the socket or the plug is damaged.
• Please ensure that the cable is not damaged by sharp edges or hot objects.
• Always pull at the plug and not the cable.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket:
- when not using the device,
- after each use,
- before cleaning and storing the device
• Do not alter the product in any way. Have any repairs carried out by a pro-
fessional workshop.
Risk of burns and scalds
• Do not point the steam at eyes or other heat-sensitive areas. Always keep
your eyes closed when using the device.
• Discontinue use immediately, if you are feeling unwell or getting too hot.
• Do not leave the device unattended while it heats up or cools down.
• Even after use, the device and any residual water in the evaporator bowl
remain hot for some time. Let the device and water cool down sufficiently
before transporting, cleaning or storing the device.
• Use the device only with the facial attachment properly installed and
sealed.
