FIXING THE GEAR MOTOR
· Fix the plate P1 to the ground, respecting the criteria in fig. A.
· Fix the motor to plate P1 using bolts M10x60 provided.
· Screw two nuts M10 and two washers Ø10 on each bolt (fig. B).
· The first nut is used to fix the motor to the bolt.
· The second nut is used to fix the bolt and the motor to plate P1, as well as
the millimetric adjustment of the height. The fixing bolts lead to a vertical
adjustment of about 15 mm. It is highly recommended to place the bolt in
the middle of each fixing slot of the motor. It is highly recommended to fix
the motor keeping a distance from plate P1 of about 30 mm (fig. B). In this
way it will be possible, at the end of the installation, to adjust perfectly both
vertically and horizontally the motor.

FIXING OF B117 RACK
B117 is a nylon gear rack with steel core, M4 module and 20x26mm
dimensions, in 0.50 cm bars.
To fix it to your gate, please follow the instructions:
1
Release the motor and open the gate fully.
2
Place the first rack piece on the motors' pinion, level it off horizontally and
then fix it to the gate using the screws and the washers supplied.
3
Move the gate forward for about 0.50 cm
4
Couple a second piece of rack to the first one and lay it on the pinion
(picture D).
Keep the rack perfectly levelled and fix the second piece to the gate.
5
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to cover all the gate length
6
Lower the gearmotor position about 1 or 2 mm by adjusting the bolts on
the ground fixing plate, to avoid the gate weight overloading on the motor
pinion.
7
Fix the limit switch brackets (opening and closing limit switches) at the to
ends of the rack with the fitting dowels (picture E).
8
Make sure that your gates has mechanical stops and adjust the limit
switch brackets to make the gate stop before reaching the mechanical
stops.
The chain must be fixed to the supporting frame of the gate through the
proper bolts and screws provided.
1
Fix the two supporting plates of the chain to both limbs of the gate, at
proper height (fig. I).
2
Screw a bolt on the first threaded crop.
Put the threaded crop in the first fixing plate. Make sure the fixing hole of
the chain is turned towards the motor.
3
Put the second bolt and tighten them both about half stroke.
4
Screw a bolt on the second threaded crop. Place a spring on it and put it
all in the hole of the second fixing plate. Make sure the fixing hole of the
chain is turned towards the motor.
5
Bring the chain and cut it at proper seize to fix it to the two holes of the
treaded crops.
6
Fix the chain to one of the threaded crops through the provided joint.
Release the motor through its proper release key. Put the chain between
the pinion and parallel pin of the guide of the motor. Pull the chain to catch
up the hole of the second threaded crop. Fix the chain to the second
threaded crop through the provided joint. Put the chain under tension
screwing the bolts of both plates. The right tension level of the chain is
obtained when levering on any point of it, the chain tightener spring is still
able to compress.
7
Make sure the distance between the chain and the parallel pin is enough
to prevent the loss of the chain from its guide, without impeding it to slide.
Adjust eventually the distance by shimming the plate itself.
8
Fix on the frame of the gate the proper slide strokes. The gate must not
knock against the mechanical stops. Adjust therefore the slide stokes so
that the cylinder (fig. G) of the micro limit switch hits the slide stroke just
before the gate closes completely.
RELEASE AND LOCK THE MOTOR (FIG. C)
Put the proper key through the release seat and turn anticlockwise to
release and, clockwise to lock the motor.
