Please read this leaflet carefully before you start to use your ST15BW Waffle Maker. It will enable you to
get the most out of your new product and to safely enjoy its many benefits.
•
Check that the voltage marked on the product corresponds with your supply voltage.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent
persons.
•
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
•
In common with other electrical appliances, the product must not be taken into or used in the
bathroom or near sources of water.
•
Do not immerse the product in water (refer to section on "Cleaning").
•
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
•
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
•
Never touch the plug or use the unit with wet hands.
•
Never cover the appliance with any kind of material.
•
Provide proper ventilation when using the appliance.
•
Always unplug the unit before cleaning, moving or when not in use.
•
Examine the product for wear and tear. Do not use the unit if you see any signs of damage. Return
it to the place where you bought it for repairs.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
•
The unit will get hot whilst in use – Be careful not to touch it.
• Use the product on a flat, dry level work surface. Ensure there is plenty space around the product
as it will produce steam and surfaces will get hot during use.
• Always use the black plastic hand grip when opening the waffle maker.
• Do not overfill the waffle maker – as this may damage the product.
•
Do not use on or near a gas appliance.
•
Position the unit in a suitable place as steam may be emitted from the ingredients when in use.
Show care on opening and closing the unit.
WARNING: WHEN THE APPLIANCE IS IN USE, THE BAKING PLATES AS WELL AS THE METAL PARTS OF
THE TOP COVER WARM UP AND CAN REACH A HIGH TEMPERATURE. DO NOT TOUCH THEM!
● A competent qualified electrician must replace a damaged cord (*).
!! TO AVOID BURNS, WAIT UNTIL THE APPLIANCE HAS TOTALLY COOLED DOWN BEFORE
MOVING THE PRODUCT.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person
who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.
