1 Safety
Please read the instructions carefully, especially the chapter on "Safety", before using the
Wella Professionals Style. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you
pass on the appliance to someone else, be sure to hand over these instructions as well.
• Please check whether the mains voltage corresponds to
the voltage specified on the type plate.
• Do not use this appliance close to baths, show-
ers, washbasins or other receptacles containing
water.
• Additional protection is afforded by installing a residual
current device with a rated tripping current of less than
30 mA in your home electrical system. We recommend
you get an electrician to install a residual current protec-
tion system to protect the circuits.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and
up and by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have been trained in the
safe use of the appliance and have understood the result-
ing dangers. Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out
by children without supervision.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces!
• Never place the Wella Professionals Style on paper
wipes, towels or similar items when it is switched on; always
place it on a firm, level and heat-resistant surface.
• Do not wind the power cord around the appliance. If the
power cord of the appliance is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's custom-
er services, or by similarly qualified persons, in order to
avoid endangerment.
• Use the Wella Professionals Style for dry hair only.
