the battery packs have "+" and "-" contacts direct-
ly adjacent to each other. The distance in between
the contacts can be adjusted separately.
Only change the position of contacts with the
pen integrated in the lid and prevent any contact
of metallic objects with the charger contacts.
Please make sure that the unit is turned off be-
fore moving the contacts. The charging contacts
are spring mounted. Prevent any kind of force
upon the charging contacts.
Inserting a Lithium-Ion Battery Pack
Take a look at the contact side of the battery pack.
There you find at least two silver or gold charging
contacts. Some battery packs have more than just
two contacts. The charging process requires only
those contacts marked with "+" and "-". Never
try to connect any contacts not marked with "+"
or "-", or the battery pack or battery charger may
suffer damages.
The polarity (+/-) is recognized automatically by
the battery charger and is set accordingly. The cor-
