4.1.2 Adjusting the height
The height is adjustable
in ten positions by means
of 2 ratchet adjusters
located on the headband
on the left and right
rear side of the helmet
liner. The helmet should
be adjusted so that the
eyes are aligned with the
vertical center of the visor.
The distance of the nose to the visor can also be adjusted by means of the ratchet
adjusters. Moving the ratchet adjusters inwards towards the helmet shell results in
more space between the nose and the visor and vice versa.
For easier accessibility set the helmet band to "minimum" before adjusting the
ratchet adjusters.helmet should be adjusted so that the eyes are aligned with the
vertical center of the visor.
CAUTION: When adjusting the ratchet adjusters it is important to listen for the audible
snapping of the adjuster into position on both sides after the adjustment in order to
ensure a proper safety function of the helmet liner.
4.1.3 Basic adjustment of the browband
Besides adjusting the height of the cradle
net there are also various possibilities of
adjusting the browband. The height of the
browband can be fixed in three positions.
The easiest way is to set the hat size setting
to the minimum size.
Afterwards pull the shaft of the size adjustment from the settings knob. Then
unfasten the four bands connecting the headband and helmet band.
Eye level in the vertical center of the visor - adjusted correctly
Turn the size adjuster to "minimum".
