7.6 Fan with start-up and stop delay (Function 6)
This function, in combination with Function 1, can be used to
Button O
implement a light with fan control by employing two radio
actuators and one radio sensor.
One radio actuator is used for light control and the second
radio actuator is used for fan control.
Button I
The radio sensor must be assigned on both radio actuators
and programmed appropriately for these radio actuators (to
Function 1 for the light control radio actuator and to Function
6 for the fan control radio actuator).
Pressing button I will switch on the light; the fan will subse-
quently switch on after a 3 minute delay.
Pressing button O will switch off the light; the fan will remain
on for the preset (parameter) stop-time delay.

7.7 Light scenes (Function 7)
A light scene can be implemented with this function when a
light control with multiple radio actuators and their assigned
radio sensors are available.
This is done by assigning all radio actuators involved in the
light scene to an additional radio sensor, in which Function 7
has been programmed for each of the radio actuators.
When respective radio actuators are to be switched on or
Function
off then one of the buttons on the radio sensor to be used

must be held depressed for more than 2s in order to store

the light scene, which will be confirmed by a brief blinking of
the output.
By briefly pressing the radio sensor's button I or button O,
one of the four stored light scenes (A-D) will be called up.

7.8 Window contact and window handle (Function 8)
When a assigned window contact or window handle is opened
the consumer is switched on. When all assigned window contacts
and window handles are closed the consumer is switched off.
Caution!! The window contact must be assigned or deleted on
a radio actuator with its programming button.
The window handle must be assigned by opening or closing the
window handle.
For the programming of the function 8 and the parameter in
function programming, the window contact must be activated
for recognition once! This can also be done before the window
contact will be mounted. The window handle must be opened or
closed for recognition once in the function programming.

8. Ranges between radio sensors and actuators
The range of the radio signals decreases as the distance
between radio sensor and actuator increases. The range
between the radio sensor and actuator in a house is approx.
30m (line-of-sight connection) and 100m in halls. The trans-
mission range depends on the materials used in the building:
Material
Masonry
Reinforced concrete
Drywall/wood
Limiting the range of the radio signals due to:
• Installing the radio sensor or actuator in the immediate
vicinityof materials with metal constituents, or metal objects.
A distance of at least 10cm should be maintained.
• Installing the radio sensor or actuator on the ground or at
ground level.
• Moisture in the materials
• Devices, which also emit high frequency signals, such as
e.g. computers, audio and video equipment, electronic
ballasts for illuminants.
A distance of at least 0.5m should be maintained.
9. Error analysis in the case of radio interference

that could generate problems (metal cabinets, walls or
furniture has been moved, etc.).
