SYNC BINDING MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
INVENTORY LIST
2 - Sync upper
2 - Sync Foot Pads
4 - M6 x 13 mm Binding Mounting Screws
TOOLS NEEDED:
P3 Screwdriver
NOTE: This Cabrinha Accessory is designed for use with Cabrinha Boards.
Use of this accessory with products of other manufacturers may result in over-tightening
of the screws and is therefore excluded from any warranty cover.
NOTE: Do not use power tools to assemble your board. You will run the risk of cross
threading the inserts. Doing so will void your warranty.
BEFORE GETTING STARTED:
• Remove all contents from the Sync accessory package.
• Identify each item from the inventory list above.
• Screws are located in the internal pocket of the packing bag.
• Check each insert in the board.
• Carefully thread a binding mounting screw into each insert to be sure it threads easily
and the threads are clear of any debris.
MOUNT BINDINGS
1. Identify the left and right footbed by the location of the embossed C logo on the side of
the footbed. The C logo will be positioned on the side closest to the tips of the board
when installed properly.
2. Identify the left and right Sync Uppers by the location of the Cabrinha Logo on the
sidewall of the upper. The Cabrinha logo will be positioned on the side closest to the
tips of the board when installed properly.
3. Place the Sync binding on the desired stance. Note: There are 3 stance options for
each foot on the Cabrinha kite Boards. While other positions are possible, the mounting
of the binding will be more difficult.
4. There are 4 angle options for each side of the Sync Mounting Block. Initially choose
opposite angles. eg. Lower Option on the inside Mounting Block, Upper Option on the
Outside Mounting block. This is adjustable later.
5. Align the first block to the correct alignment. Push the Sync Mounting Block down and
inwards until the insert is clearly visible. Put the screw in place and tighten.
NOTE: Be aware that the screw is straight and is not cross threading. Some down-
ward force may be needed. Tighten the screw so that 2 or 3 Threads are engaged.
6. Align the second block to the correct alignment. Push the Sync Mounting block down
and inwards until the insert is clearly visible.
7. Put the screw in place and tighten. Some downward force may be needed.
8. Adjust the stance angle as needed. Fully tighten both screws once set.
9. Repeat on the other foot.
