Defi nitions
We use the following terms in this manual to indicate a warning:
Danger!
High risk. Failure to observe this warning may cause severe injury or death.
Caution!
Medium risk. Failure to observe this warning may cause damage to property.
Important!
Low risk. Circumstances that should be considered when handling the device.

Safety information

Danger of choking!
Dispose of packaging fi lm immediately as it can become a deadly trap for children.
Danger of electric shock!
The device operates at dangerously high voltage.
Do not connect or operate the device when you can see noticeable signs of damage –
especially to the electrical parts! Please notify our customer service immediately if the
device has transportation damage or any other visible signs of damage.
If the power cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their
customer service or a similarly qualifi ed person in order to avoid danger.
When unplugging the device, always pull out the power plug itself, never pull on the cable.
This electrical device must be connected to an AC power source and the voltage must
match the technical data displayed on the device.
After the device has been installed correctly, and provided that the instructions given in the
introduction are observed, the device may be connected to the power source.
Please make sure to inspect the power supply unit frequently. The electrical fi replace must
not be used, if the power cables or any other parts show any signs of damage.
If the plug or the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their
customer service staff or by a qualifi ed electrician, to prevent risks.
Unprofessional repairs may lead to serious hazards for users.
Do not submerge the electrical fi replace in water or any other fl uids.
The electrical fi replace must not be used near a bathroom, shower or swimming pool.
Do not handle the electrical fi replace when your hands are wet.
Before cleaning the electrical fi replace, please ensure that the power source is turned off
and the device has cooled down completely.
Do not use any parts that were not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer.
Non-observance of this rule may lead to injuries or to damage to the electrical fi replace.
Never move the electrical fi replace by pulling the cable.
