DescrIPtIon oF PArts:
1. LcD shows the time, UV index, and temperature at the unit's current location
2. uV sensor Update UV and temperature readings.
3. uV button Turns UV mode on and off.
4. MoDe button Press and hold 3 seconds to enter Clock Setting mode. When UV mode
is on, press to switch to EET mode (Estimated Exposure Time).
5. „+" button Press to increase displayed time during Clock Setting mode. Press to set
Skin Type during UV mode. Press to start timer during Timer mode.
6. „-" button – Press to decrease displayed time during Clock Setting mode. Press to set
SPF during UV mode. Press to stop timer during Timer mode. Press to switch between
F and C during Normal mode.
BAttery rePLAceMent
The Thermometer and UV Monitor operates on one CR 2032 lithium battery, as installed.
There is a strip under the battery cover to prevent battery drain in shipping. Please remove
before use. When the LCD shows „Lo", or the readings grow dim or irregular, the battery
needs replacement.
1. Use a 3 volt CR2032 lithium battery only
2. The battery compartment is located on the back of the unit. Use a coin to turn the
battery compartment cover in the direction of arrow (counter clockwise) and remove
the cover.
3. Remove the old battery from the compartment.
4. Place the new battery in the compartment with the „+" sign showing. Reinstall the
cover by turning in the opposite direction of the arrow (clockwise).
