Packing and storage
• To prevent mould forming, make sure the parts of the beach shelter are clean and dry before you pack
them up. If any parts are damp, dry them thoroughly after your holiday.
• Store the beach shelter in a dry place. Damp may result in mouldy or corroded material or tubes.
Location
• Choose a site that is as level as possible and is not in a dip in the ground.
• Remove any stones, twigs or other objects before you start erecting. Sharp edges not only damage the
beach shelter, but can also be a great nuisance.
If your beach shelter stands in the sun fo rlong periods, the colour may fade.
Putting up the beach shelter
General:
Empty out the carrying bag completely
Assemble all frames/poles and arrange them in order of size.
Place all accessories ready, e.g. nail pegs, guy lines etc.
Putting up the beach shelter:
1. Spread out the beach shelter on the ground with the channels
facing upwards.
2. Push the long rod A through the channels.
3. Push the two short rods B through the diagonal channels.
Bend rods
Start by bending the short rods B. Then bend the long rod A.
For each rod in turn, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the one end of a rod in the metal eyelet.
2. On the other side, pull the material over the rod as it bends.
3. Insert the free end of the rod in the metal eyelet on the other side.
4. Tie the rods to the beach shelter.
Insert the nail pegs into the ground through the loops to secure the
beach shelter.
Tensioning
1. Attach the guy lines to the loops on the outside and fix them to the
ground with nail pegs.
The guy lines should still be fairly slack.
2. Move the plastic slider to tighten or slacken the guy lines. Make
sure the material is pulled as smooth as possible all round.
