Color Save function
If you use the Color Save function, the appliance
automatically sets the ideal temperature for col-
oured hair.
Press the COLOR SAVE button to
switch the Color Save function
on.
The + and – buttons do not have
any effect now.
The Color Save symbol continues
flashing in the display until the
appliance has heated up or
cooled down to the ideal tem-
perature.
When the Color Save symbol
stays on continuously, the ideal
temperature has been reached.
To switch off the Color Save
function, press the COLOR SAVE
button again.
The display then shows the temperature last se-
lected. You can once again set the temperature
with the + and – buttons.
Switching off
• To switch off, press the On/
Off switch
1 second.
Until the appliance has cooled
down to about 60°C, the display
flashes red to warn you not to
touch the hot surfaces.
• After use, pull out the mains
plug.
Automatic cut-out
• If the appliance remains
switched on for 45 minutes
without any button being
pressed, the display flashes
alternately red and blue. If
you want to carry on working,
press any button.
• After a further 2 minutes without any button
being pressed, the appliance switches off com-
pletely. This is a safety function.
