Operation
When the MAESTRO 2M PCB Separator is
placed on a firm surface (1), it can then be put
into operation with the minimum of effort.
When using the machine for the first time, it is
advisable to wipe both blades clean of the pro-
tective oil film by using a soft cloth.
.1. Establish ground contact
Mounted at the rear of the machine is a
press-stud, 10mm.(2). Earthing is necessary due
to the possibility of electrostatic charges building
up when PCB's are cut.
.2. Connection to the Mains Voltage Supply
The mains supply socket is situated at the lower
rear end of the machine.
1. Check the setting of the voltage selector (3)
and if necessary alter it as follows:
Open the module flap (4), remove and re-
place the voltage selector so that the correct
voltage setting is visible when the module flap
is closed. Upon altering the input voltage set-
ting, the fuse must also be changed accord-
ingly, (500 mAT for 230 v., 1 AT for 115 v.)
2. Insert the power cord supplied into the socket
(5) at the rear of the machine, and plug the
machine into the mains supply via an earthed
socket.

Installation et mise en route

L'installation du MAESTRO 2M se fait selon les
indications qui suivent et peu de manipulations
sont nécessaires.
Lors de la première mise en route il est recom-
mandé de retirer la graisse qui se trouve sur les
couteaux à l'aide d'un chiffon doux.
.1. Mise à la terre
Ceci est impératif pour éviter les charges élec-
trostatiques !
L'appareil est équipé d' un branchement :
ø10 mm (2).
.2. Branchement
Le module d'alimentation se trouve sur la partie
arrière du pied du bâti.
Vérifier le réglage de la tension électrique
1.
à l'aide de l'indicateur de tension (3) et la
modifier si nécessaire.
Pour cela, ouvrir le rabat (4) sur le module de
branchement et ajuster le voltage de manière
à ce que lorsque le rabat est replacé sur le
module, le voltage désiré apparaisse dans la
fenêtre du rabat. Lors du changement de vol-
tage, ne pas oublier de changer les fusibles
(500 mA pour 230 V et 1 A pour 115V).
2. Brancher le câble d'alimentation fourni avec
la machine dans la prise (5) et le connecter à
une prise reliée à la terre.
