• Check that the LCD display is turned on.
• Check the volume setting. If set to zero, turn up volume level.
• Check that the headphones are plugged into the "B" jack.
Speakers cannot be used if headphones are plugged into "B".
• Use a disc without scratches or dents.
• Check that the video or audio cable is securely connected.
• Check the TV's input setting.
• Check that the video or audio cable is securely connected.
• Check that the DVD player is turned off. You cannot charge the battery pack with the
player turned on.
• A hot battery pack may take longer to charge. Wait until the battery pack is
sufficiently cooled down.
• Replace with a fully charged battery pack or use the AC adapter.

• If the DVD player is overheated and the battery pack's internal temperature goes up
to a certain level, you will not be able to charge the battery pack.
If this occurs, remove the battery pack. After the battery pack has sufficiently cooled
