MIC RM-8 | Ribbon Microphone
The RSM-1 is a ribbon microphone (2.8 micron thick) with a high degree of linearity and
an excellent impulse response. This microphone is especially suitable for recording drum
overheads or other instruments with high SPL (up to 148 dB) and large dynamic range
such as pianos and acoustic instruments. It also offers a beautiful sound for speech and
vocals. The figure 8 pattern opens completely new possibilities in sound. The
microphone is mechanically decoupled through the included shockmount. Delivery
also includes a metal case for the professional transport or storage of your model.
Use
Screw the shock mount on your stand and insert the microphone from above.
the microphone via a balanced microphone cable with 3-pin XLR plug to the XLR
microphone input of your audio unit (e.g. mixing console).

For cleaning only use a dry cloth. Maintenance and service operations are only to be
carried out by authorized dealers. Damage, caused by manual modifications on this
product is not subject to warranty. If the product is used for other purposes than
originally intended or if it is not correctly connected, it may suffer damages and the
