4.3.3 Matching the video level

The video output level at the jacks "video" (12) and
"DIN-AV" (9) is adjusted to 1 Vpp according to stan-
dard. However, if the picture appears too bright or too
dark on the screen, match the level with the control
"video level" (4).

5 Operation

1) Switch on the receiver with the switch "power" (1).
The programme adjusted prior to the last switch-
ing-off is activated and the programme number is
shown in the display (2).
2) If several cameras are set up in the surveillance
system, it is possible to switch over to another
camera by selecting the corresponding pro-
gramme with the button "P+" or "P-" (6).
3) If the sound is picked up via the jacks "audio A"
(10) and "audio B" (11), the volume can be
changed with the buttons "L-" and "L+" (5). [The
volume of the sound at the jack "DIN-AV" (9) can-
not be changed.]
4) After operation switch off the receiver and all units
of the surveillance system. If the system is not
used for a longer period of time, disconnect the
power supply unit for the receiver from the mains
socket, as it always has a low current consump-
tion.
5.1 Inserting programme number, programme
name, date, time, and receiving level
If a picture is perfectly received, the following infor-
mation can be inserted on the screen by shortly
pressing the button "OK" (7):
pressing the button for the 1
programme number and
programme name (if entered)
pressing the button for the 2
additionally date and time
pressing the button for the 3
additionally the receiving level "Level"
The level is displayed as a bar graph on a scale
from 0 to 8.
pressing the button for the 4
The information is extinguished.

5.2 Activating the automatic switching mode

If several cameras are set up in the surveillance
system, the receiver can automatically switch over
between the cameras.
1) For each camera for which the automatic switch-
ing mode is to be applied adjust a dwell time be-
tween 1 and 9 seconds in the line "Auto" in the
on-screen menu (see chapter 4.3.1) and exit the
menu with the button "OK" (7).
2) To switch on the automatic switching mode, press
the two buttons "P+" and "P-" (6) at the same time.
To identify the switching mode, the programme
number blinks on the screen.
3) To switch off the switching mode, press the button
"P+" or "P-".
