FITTING THE COLLAR

The collar must be snugly fi tted, so that the contact area presses fi rmly against the dog's
skin. When properly fi tted, you should be able to fi t a fi nger or two snugly under the collar.
When properly fi tted, the remote trainer should not move on the dog. The best location for
the Remote Spray Trainer 2.0 is directly under your dog's mouth and nose.
Please take care that the collar is not too tight, or your dog may have diffi culty breathing.
At the same time, do not allow the collar to slide around loosely, or the spray signal may
not work effectively.

PROPER DOG TRAINING
Proper dog training is the key to a harmonious coexistence between you and your pet. Still,
dog owners frequently reach the limits of their own expertise when working with their
four-legged friends.
The Remote Spray Trainer 2.0 is an innovative aid for everyday training that will quickly and
gently help to rid your dog of bad habits. The Remote Spray Trainer 2.0 lets you react imme-
diately, from a distance, to your dog's unwanted behavior, establishing a link between bad
habits and the undesirable experience of the spray. Most dogs relinquish their bad habits
permanently after just one or two uses of the trainer.
Please bear in mind that the trainer is a training device, not a toy, and should always be
used with care. So at this point we ask that you observe the following advice:

Before Training

1.
Ensure that your pet's unwanted behavior is not a result of health problems or
insuffi cient physical activity! If it is, seek professional advice instead of using the
trainer.
2.
Avoid using the trainer in heavy rain.
3.
Allow your dog a day to get used to the trainer collar before switching it on for the
fi rst time.
4.
Choose a familiar, non-threatening environment to conduct training.
During Training
1.
Remove the trainer immediately if your dog appears agitated or distressed.
2.
Use the trainer carefully; using it too frequently will lessen the effectiveness of
training.
3.
After 2-3 training sessions at most, check that your dog responds to the spray
trainer and adjust the spray intensity as needed. Unfortunately not all dogs are
sensitive to the spray signal. If the spray signal does not work, instead try a Vibra
Trainer by PetTec.
4.
Training sessions should last for a maximum of one hour per day. Remove the
trainer after every session and switch it off.
5.
Always reward your dog after a successful training session.
