the installation of

driver

completed, the power-saving mode
function
does
not work even
if
the mode
has
been
set
(Setup
Utility/Setup25
program),and
charging
is temporarily
discontinued, so
battery indicator also
goes
off
temporarily
.
To
activate
the
power-saving
sctting
or to recharge the battery
pack,
proceed as
follows.

Select [Start] -
[Settings]

[Control
Panel]
in this
order,
and
double-click [Sys-
tem].

Select
[Devi
ce
Manager], and double-click [CD-ROMJ

[MATSHITAUJDCD67

Sclect [Settings

and
remove
the check mark for
[Auto
insert
notification] in [Op-
tion].
(This cancels the function for automatically
initiating play when
the
CD-
ROM is
inserted.)

Click
[OK],
and
reboot the
computer
by
following
the instructions
appearing on
the screen.
