2.2. Function

Sterilisation using UV-C-radiation
Air is sterilised and cleaned within the OZONOS
Aircleaner. Bacteria, viruses, germs, mould spores,
yeasts and microorganisms are eliminated. The
special wavelength of the UV-C radiation in the
OZONOS Aircleaner has the same effect as natural
solar radiation.

Odour neutralisation using ozone
Inside the OZONOS Aircleaner the UV-C radiation
turns some of the oxygen in the air into ozone. Ozo-
ne is able to oxidise organic substances in the air.
This completely eliminates microorganisms, bacteria
and odours in the ambient air.
