Operating principle

This luggage scale requires no batteries. The current
required for weighing is generated by quickly shaking the
scale ("kinetic energy") just before weighing. The energy
thus generated is sufficient for several weighings. Once
the energy has been used up, the scale will switch off
automatically.

Preparing the scale

1. Grasp the scale as shown and move it quickly back and
forth a few times.
As soon as the display shows "0.00" and the battery
symbol
