6. Initial use

You can operate the device with the battery as well as the supplied
mains adapter [10].
Charging the battery
You must fully charge the battery for 60 minutes before the first use. The operating life
of the device is approx. 45 minutes when it is fully charged.
To charge the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Ensure that the device is switched off before charging the battery.
2. Connect the mains adapter [10] to a suitable socket.
3. Plug the other end of the mains adapter [10] into the micro USB connection socket
[5] on the underneath of the device. The charging indicator [4] starts to illuminate
red. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator [4] illuminates
green.
4. Once the charging process is complete, pull the mains adapter [10] from the
socket and the device.
Mains operation
To operate the device with the supplied mains adapter [10], proceed as follows:
1. Connect the mains adapter [10] to a suitable socket.
2. Plug the other end of the mains adapter into the micro USB connection socket [5]
on the underside of the device. The charging indicator [4] starts to illuminate red.
If the battery is already fully charged, the charging indicator [4] illuminates green.
The mains adapter [10] supplies enough energy to charge the battery and operate
the device at the same time.
3. After use, pull the mains adapter [10] from the socket and the device.
WARNING
Never use the device in the shower when it is being operated via the mains.
The hand-held part of the BodyGroomer must be disconnected from the connection
cable before use in a damp environment.

7. Operation

Tips before cutting/trimming hair
• Be particularly careful when using the device in areas with thin skin or skin creases
(e.g. armpits or pubic area) in order to avoid injuries. Try to stretch the skin using
your fingers.
