• As soon as the continuous beep is heard, the driver must halt the vehicle
since the gap detector system does not activate the vehicle's brakes.
• When reversing to park, drive slowly so as to avoid collisions with
obstacles due to gravity during the parking process.
• The sensor is to be cleared of ice, snow and dirt in good time.
• The sensor cables must not be pressed flat, drilled into, cut or stretched
during installation.
• The product serves only as an auxiliary warning device.
• The parking sensor is an aid that makes reversing to park easier.
• Before reversing, however, the driver of the vehicle must still make sure
that he is not endangering any children or other road users and that there
are no obstacles behind the vehicle.
• If not every risk can be eliminated, involve another person to assist you.
You must reverse only at walking pace. The driver of the vehicle is entirely
responsible. He must not rely solely on the parking sensor.
• Our liability is excluded for damage/injury, in particular personal injury and
damage to property and loss of time and also for third party damage/loss.
• If at any time during installation or setup you have any doubts or questions,
contact the relevant expert.
• Any liability which is attributable to incorrect installation is excluded.
• If the display shows an obstacle or the alarm sounds although there is no
visible obstacle in front of the sensor, you should check whether the sensor
has been installed facing the wrong direction or is positioned too close
to parts of the vehicle or too close to a strongly vibrating part of the
vehicle (e.g. exhaust). You must also check whether there is any strong
interference in the vicinity of the sensor.
