2.4 Transport and storage

During transport or storage temperature may range between -30°C and +70°C.
Max. relative humidity 60%, bedewing not permissible

3. Protection measures

3.1 Short circuit protection

On primary side short circuit protection can be guaranteed only with an adequate fuse. The
fuse is to be determined under consideration of starting current in connection with rated input
current (see type plate).
Because of the multiplicity of fuses it is rather difficult to name all fuse values. Therefore fol-
lowing rule of thumb applies for instrument fuses,
Recommendable are transformer protection switches or starting current limiters which allow
selection of a fuse release value on rated current basis.

3.2 Overload-protection

Overload protection by a correctly indicated fuse is most effective secondary. Here, in coor-
dination with each respective user, a fuse release value on rated current basis is to be se-
lected.
The stated secondary fuse value is suitable as overload protection resp. as conditional short
circuit protection.

cerning the power supply may be obtained through us.
