1.2 Safety instructions

Complying to safety requirements the transformer were tested individually acc. to VDE 0570 /
EN 61558 and left the factory in perfect safety condition.
To retain this condition and safe operation the user must observe all directions and warnings
stated in this operation manual.
Assuming that further safe operation is not possible, transformer must be removed from out
of operation immediately and safeguarded against unintentional operation.
The assumption is justified if
- transformer shows visual damage,
- transformer contains loose parts,
- transformer does not function acc. to authorized application anymore
- transformer was exposed to unfavourable conditions during transport / storage.
Acc. to DIN VDE
Apparatus may be put into operation by electrical specialists or electrically trained persons
only.
Moreover and in particular, accident prevention rules are to be observed.
Transformer may not be operated under conditions differing from the relevant safety direc-
tives stated in this manual (see technical data resp. operation conditions).
Transformer may be operated via earthing contact connection (input supply line) only. Dis-
connection of earthing contact is forbidden.
