2. Operation

2.1 Starting operation

During initial start up transformer must be connected to the terminals provided by using ade-
quate connection cables / stranded wires and connecting them.
Connection of transformer as follows:
(for example RSTN 630 pri.380V/400V/420V, sec 230V)

Protective earthing conductor is unnecessary on output side because of the galvanic isolation
against input (protective isolation).
Prior to every operation start make sure the transformer did not develop condenser water
during transport / storage. If so, acclimate apparatus for 2 hours to ambient temperature be-
fore starting operation.

2.3 Operation conditions

The transformer may not be operated at high humidity, danger of explosion, aggressive
chemical environment.
Operation of transformer is permitted on dry surfaces only, positioned horizontal (floor
mounting) or vertical (wall mounting).
Adequate air circulation (convection cooling) must be guaranteed.
Permitted ambient temperature during operation ranges from 0°C up to +40°C. In case of
ambient temperatures higher than +40°C rated power must be reduced acc. to following
chart.
