6 Operation

1) Open the battery compartment cover (6) of the
remote control and insert two 1.5 V batteries of
type AAA as printed on the cover. Close the cover.
Dead batteries or defective rechargeable batter-
ies do not belong in the household rubbish: To
ensure a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment, always take them to a special
waste disposal (e. g. special waste container at
your retailer).
2) For making an announcement via the audio chan-
nel, keep the talk button
into the microphone (1). Adjust the volume of a
connected speaker with the trimming potentiome-
ter (17).
3) For triggering a control command, press the corre-
sponding button (4) on the remote control. The
control function depends on the adjustment made
in chapter 4.3. If the control function is set to "on/
off switch", simultaneous activation of several out-
puts is also possible.
4) As long as one of the buttons (3 or 4) is kept
pressed, the power LED (2) lights as an indicator.
