CLEANING AND CARE

Your hand blender should be cleaned and
dried after each use as follows. Lack of
or improper care of the device can affect
your Sam hand blender's functionality.
• Disconnect the hand blender's mains
plug before cleaning
• Engine part, power cable and power
plug must not get wet. Clean the engi-
ne housing with a slightly damp cloth.
• The cup and the chopper container are
dishwasher safe. Rinse the remaining
parts by hand, since they are not
dishwasher safe.
• If you process food colouring or
strongly colouring food with your Sam
hand blender, attachments or engine
housings may discolour. After use,

TROUBLE SHOOTING

If the device does not work properly, please check the following steps:
1. Check if the manual was followed precisely and correctly.
2. Check the following table for possible reasons.
3. Check if all fuses are working.

wipe the device with a cloth moiste-
ned with vegetable oil to remove the
colour. Clean it as described above.
• If you use the chopper to process
exceedingly salty foods, be sure to
rinse the blade immediately after use.
• Make sure to always clean all parts
thoroughly with hot water and was-
hing-up liquid that come in contact
with food.
WARNING: Please note
that the engine part and
the mains cable must never get
wet. Be sure to unplug the device
before cleaning and keep it away
from water to avoid danger.
