Sicherheitsbestimmungen
Das Gerät darf nur von Personen installiert und in Betrieb genommen
werden, die mit dieser Montageanleitung und den geltenden Vorschriften
über Arbeitssicherheit und Unfallverhütung vertraut sind.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Sicherheitsrelaisbaustein ist bestimmt für den Einsatz in:
• Not­Halt­Schaltungen nach EN 418 (EN 60 947­5­5)
• Schutztürüberwachungen nach EN 1088
Die Sicherheitsfunktion ist definiert als das Öffnen der Freigaben 13­14
und 23­24 und das zeitverzögerte Öffnen der Freigabe 37­38 beim
Öffnen der Eingänge S11­S12 oder S21­S22. Die sicherheitsrelevanten
Strompfade mit den Ausgangskontakten 13­14 und 23­24 erfüllen die
Anforderungen der Kategorie 4 nach DIN EN 954­1 (03.97), der Strom­
pfad 37­38 erfüllt die Anforderung der Kategorie 3 nach DIN EN 954­1
(03.97).

Safety regulations
The unit may only be installed and operated by personnel who are famil­
iar with both these instructions and the current regulations for safety at
work and accident prevention.
Authorised applications
The safety relay module is for use in:
• Emergency stop circuits to EN 418 (EN 60 947­5­5)
• Guard monitoring to EN 1088
The safety function is defined as follows: The enabling outputs 13­14
and 23­24 and the time­delayed enabling output 37­38 are open, when
the inputs S11­S12 or S21­S22 opens. The safety related current paths
with the output contacts 13­14 and 23­24 fulfil the requirements of the
safety category 4 according to DIN EN 954­1 (03.97), the current path
37­38 fulfil the requirements of the safety category 3 according to DIN
EN 954­1 (03.97).
