ROUTINE CLEANING PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect keg coupler from the product keg.
2. Place keg coupler in a bucket with cleaning solution : 7 liters (2 gallons) of warm water
25˚C- 35˚C + 200 grams (7 ounces) of MICRO MATIC Beer Line Cleaner. Cleaning
solution must completely cover keg coupler - Picture 8.
3. Allow keg coupler to soak in cleaning solution.
4. Rinse keg coupler with fresh water.
5. Brush off any build-up on component.
6. Rinse again.
7. Connect keg coupler to the sanitation keg with warm water 25˚C- 35˚C -7 liters (2 gallons)
– Picture 9.
8. Engage keg coupler , container will pressurize filling the line with warm water.
9. Place an empty bucket under the cold brew coffee faucet.
10. Open the faucet until the line has been thorougly cleared of product and clear water flows
out of the faucet.
11. Close the faucet.
12. Place en empty bucker under the nitro coffee faucet.
13. Open the faucet until the line has been thorougly cleared of product and clear water flows
out of the faucet. After that, when the faucet is still open, turn the valve which is
positioned on the back of the cooler on CLEANING MODE. Wait eight seconds when
the valve is in CLEANING MODE then turn the valve back in DISPENSING MODE.
Repeat valve turning three times. When finished the valve must be in position
DISPENSING MODE.
14. Close the faucet.
15. Disengage keg coupler and pull pressure relief valve on the sanitation keg to relieve
pressure inside keg.
16. Discard unused warm water.
17. Fill the sanitation keg with cleaning solution : 7 liters (2 gallons) of warm water 25˚C-
35˚C + 200 grams (7 ounces) of MICRO MATIC Beer Line Cleaner – Picture 10.
18. Engage keg coupler , container will pressurize filling the line with cleaning solution.
19. Place an empty bucked under the cold brew coffee faucet.
20. Open faucet until chemical is visible out of faucet. Chemical is light blue in color.
