MAXON License Server
1. The Serial Number window
This is where all of the License Server's multi-license Packages are displayed:
• Each individual serial number
• The CINEMA 4D version for which each serial number is valid
• The number of licenses that have been allocated
Right-clicking on a serial number will make the following commands available:
• Delete (can be used to delete the entire group of serial
numbers or module serial numbers; is only made available
if no serial numbers have been allocated, i.e. no Clients are
using any serial numbers)
• Lock License (also available as the "Lock" option at the
bottom of the serial number preferences)
At the top of the Serial Number window are two buttons:
Add Serial Numbers
Click on this button if you want to enter multi-license serial numbers purchased
from MAXON into the License Server that should be passed on to Clients. The
serial numbers MUST be entered in the correct order. To do so, copy the serial
numbers as you received them via e-mail from MAXON into the dialog window.

Show / Set Server Info
When the License Server is started for the first time you will be prompted to enter
information such as your name, or company name and address under which the
group of serial numbers was purchased. Clicking on this button will display this
information. This information can also be modified, if needed. This information
will be displayed on each Client when the user selects the "Personalize" option
from the Help menu.
Multi-license number settings
For the most part, multi-license serial packages have properties that are of an
informal nature:
