Automatic lockout
If an incorrect code is entered three times, the safe locks for 30 seconds. Three additional incorrect
entries lock the safe for fi ve minutes.
Securing the safe
Bolt down your safe for maximum security. You will need:
• Drill
• Pencil
• Hammer
1. Select an isolated, dry, and secure location for your safe. If bolting to a wall, make sure that your
safe is resting on a supporting surface (such as the fl oor or a shelf). Do not bolt your safe to both
the fl oor and wall.
2. Set the safe in place, then use a pencil to mark the mounting holes in the fl oor or wall.
3. Move the safe away, then use a 12mm bit to drill mounting holes that are 2 in. (50mm) deep.
4. Align the safe over the holes, then install the expansion bolts (included) through the holes and
into the mounting surface.
