chocolate is smooth. You can also melt the chocolate au bain-marie. Beat the butter
together with the soft brown sugar mixture. Add the flour and a pinch of salt. Finally add
the melted chocolate. Place if desired the paper cake cases in the appliance. Fill each
hole in the lower plate half with the cup-cake batter. Bake the cup-cakes until they are
golden brown, approx. 7-10 minutes.
Raspberry cup-cakes for ca 8 pieces
95g self-rising flout
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
40g castor sugar
1 egg
75g raspberries
2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
2 tablespoons of milk
2 teaspoons of cane sugar
Beat the egg. Mix the flour, cinnamon and castor sugar in a bowl. Make a hole in the
center of the mixture and pour the stirred egg, oil and milk in. mix firmly. Then add the
raspberries to the batter. This must be done in a careful way. Place if desired the paper
cake cases in the appliance. Fill each hole in the lower plate half with the cup-cake
batter. Bake the cup-cakes until they are golden brown, approx. 7-
10 minutes.
Hazelnut cup-cakes for ca 8 pieces
80g butter
100g flour
80g brown sugar
50g hazelnuts, quartered
½ teaspoon baking powder
6g rum
 
 
1 egg
1g cinnamon powder
1½ teaspoon instant coffee
80g powdered sugar
1½ tablespoon hot water
Chocolate coffee beans
Stir the butter soft and creamy with the sugar. Add the egg and stir, add the flour and stir,
strew the baking powder and cinnamon above and then stir. Add the quartered
hazelnuts, the rum and a pinch of salt. Stir everything firmly. Place if desired the paper
cake cases in the appliance. Fill each hole in the lower plate half with the cup-cake
batter. Bake the cup-cakes until they are golden brown, approx. 7-10 minutes. For
making the icing, dissolve the instant coffee very well and stir this through the powdered
sugar.

CARE AND CLEANING

Warming:
Before cleaning the appliance, always switch it off, disconnect it from the electricity
supply and allow it to completely cool down.
• Do not allow stains to dry. Clean the appliance and the baking surfaces as soon as
possible after use.
• The inner baking surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild washing-up
liquid. Wipe the surfaces dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not use any wire wool, metal brushes, scourers or other hard objects to clean the
appliance and the baking surfaces; these could scratch the appliance and its non-stick
surfaces.
• Caution: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout,
this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a
timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
