Safety instructions

Read the following instructions carefully before using the device. Keep these operating instructions
in a safe place.

• Note the maintenance instructions.
Correct use
The device is used to provide animals with drinking water. Any other use shall be deemed incorrect. In the
event of incorrect use or modifications to the device, the manufacturer's warranty and liabilities shall be
deemed invalid.
Function
The drinking bowl is equipped with a heating cable. The heating cable keeps the water in the specified temperature
range free from frost. The temperature switch integrated into the heating cable switches the water heating system on at
around +5°C and off again at around +13°C. The cover on the underside of the bowl and the closed construction in the
area of the valve inlet have an insulating effect and prevent heat given off from the heating cable from escaping.
The 222050 and 222055 models are equipped with heating cables with an extended heating range beyond the water
area (auxiliary pipe heating) which also keeps the water inlet frost-free for up to 2 metres.
